Chooks-to-Go Inc. recently held their Kaizen Program Awards with the theme “MAKE GREAT IDEAS HAPPEN – Reducing Lean Wastes (DOWNTIME) through Continuous Improvement.” The event recognized the hard work and dedication of various teams who implemented creative solutions to business problems using the PDCA methodology.

The champion of the event was Team A.N.G.A.T. with their program called “Acquire New Germination of Ability & Talent.” Their project aimed to reduce transfers and inventory variances in Chooks-to-Go (CTG) and UR stores. They proposed developing and standardizing an ordering form for Store Specialists, which could result in significant reduction in transportation costs from transferring stocks, improved inventory management, and additional time for SS to do more productive supervision of stores.
These innovations will hopefully be implemented across all business centers.

Team A.N.G.A.T. is composed of Eula Patricia Layson, Edwardson Raña, Clarize Tulda, April Rose Atilano, Chad Luke Alfante, and Loreto Japon. The team will be rewarded with the Php500,000 cash prize upon official implementation of their project concept.
The second runner up was Team Persistence, and the first runner up was Team ICONnect. Both teams also showcased their ability to think outside the box.
Team QA Boom Panis and Oiliminators were named as finalists.

The Kaizen Program aims to create a culture of continuous improvement within the company, where all employees are actively engaged in improving the business. This event provided a platform for teams to identify problems, collaborate, and develop solutions using the PDCA methodology.

Overall, the event was a rousing success, with participants showcasing their skills and creativity in problem-solving. It was an excellent opportunity to recognize the creativity of employees and encourage a culture of continuous improvement in the company.
The Kaizen Program Awards is an excellent initiative by Chooks-to-Go Inc. which aims to promote innovation and progress in the workplace. Congratulations to all the winners and participants for making great ideas happen!
