Officials from the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), Bounty Fresh Foods, Inc. (BFFI), and Chooks-to-Go, Inc. gathered at the Chooks! Dine-in restaurant in SM Mall of Asia to mark the official presentation of three volumes of a coffee table book, meticulously crafted to illuminate the vibrant cultures of 101 indigenous communities that span the archipelago.

The esteemed guests included NCIP Chairperson Allen A. Capuyan, Executive Assistant to Mr. Tennyson Chen, Miguel Berberabe, BFFI’s AVP for Marketing, Ms. Twinkle Magbag, and Chooks-to-Go, Inc. President Ronald Mascariñas.
The collaboration serves as a testament to their shared dedication to uplift the lives of our indigenous communities. These IP communities are considered as stewards of Filipino traditions and cultural heritage, embodying the resilience and diversity that form the core of our nation’s identity.

The coffee table book series is thoughtfully organized into three volumes: Pagkilala, Paggalang, at Pagtaguyod. Each volume delves into the crucial facets of Indigenous Peoples’ (IP) communities, including ancestral domains, cherished customs, captivating tourism destinations, ecologically important protected areas, vital infrastructure endeavors, and the precious natural resources that sustain these communities.
Each turn of a page from each volume deepens our comprehension of the heritage that underpins our nation but also underscores the significance of solidarity in preserving and honoring our cultural diversity.
Warmest congratulations to NCIP for their unwavering commitment to championing and safeguarding the cultural heritage of our indigenous communities. This milestone is not merely a testament to their hard work but also a stepping stone toward a more culturally astute society.
