Of course, Sen. Manny Pacquiao stood at the forefront of taking care of his hometown and home region.
The eight-division boxing world champion was right in the middle of relief drives as Mindanao reeled from Auring, the country’s first tropical storm of the year.
Pacquiao handed out over 10,000 packs of Chooks-to-Go Marinado chicken to go along with sacks of rice, boxes of canned goods, handfuls of medical kits, and thousands in cash aid to Sulu, Zamboanga, Sarangani, General Santos, Bukidnon, and Cagayan de Oro.

Last Wednesday, the fighting senator was right there to be with his kababayans in General Santos, the city that toughened him up into the man he is today.
Of course, Pacquiao expressed gratitude to Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) for staying by his side, as always.

He also went back to Sarangani, specifically barangays Malapatan and Maasim, which he represented in Congress for two terms and reached out a helping hand to Patikul, Sulu; Putik, Zamboanga; Kibawe, Bukidnon; and Gusa, Cagayan de Oro.
