Answering the call for ‘Paskong May Malasakit,’ Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) employees last Tuesday spread the Christmas cheer to Rizaleños in need.
Employees from the poultry leader’s Information Systems Support Center and Metro Manila Business Center banded together to donate and distribute 2,500 packs of Marinado chicken to those affected by Typhoon Ulysses in Dela Costa Burgos Montalban, Rizal.

Along with sharing good food, BAVI employees also made those inside the Ynares Covered Court jump for joy through a short and simple program that had a chicken-eating contest as well as raffle draws.
“Nag-ambagan ang aking mga kasamahan upang magdala ng tulong sa mga nasalanta ng baha sa Rizal,” said company president Ronald Mascariñas, a leader made proud by his followers. “Wala man ang dating pinagsasaluhan sa Chirstmas party ngayong taon, masaya kaming nakakatulong pa rin.”

Up for grabs in the raffle draws for the beneficiaries from Dela Costa in Montalban and Burgos in Rodriguez were 20 rice cookers, 20 desk fans, 20 thermostats, 10 sacks of rice, 10 gas stoves, four electric kettles, one ceramic cooker, and one 32-inch TV.
All of the items were from in-kind donations from company executives and suppliers such as Mobile Optima, Novulutions, and Synermaxx.

The ‘Paskong may Malasakit’ for the Rizaleños is, most definitely, just the first of many for BAVI after its always amiable executive urged his employees to “help Filipino families still feel the joy of Christmas despite the adversities they faced.”
The program intends to replace Christmas parties with creative activities that would help out those in need.

Proceeds will be directed to human resources which will then pool all of them together to be granted to beneficiaries affected by Super Typhoon Rolly, Typhoon Ulysses, and COVID-19.
HR will also determine the top three centers which will be judged in terms of creativity, impact to the community, amount of cash donations generated, and timely and accurate submission of documentation on or before January 8 of next year.
