Our processing plant in the Davao region has recently been certified halal by the Davao Muslim Ulama Halal Certifying and Monitoring Agency (DMUHCAMA).
Abdul Rahim Andaman, DMUHCAMA secretary, handed the certificate to Davao Business Center Head Engr. Ruben Jaraplasan.
Held at Sunny Point Hotel on September 12, the certification was the latest in BAVI’s growing number of certified halal processing plants.

According to BAVI President Ronald Mascariñas, the certification shows the company’s commitment to serving Filipinos from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds.
“Aside from producing healthy products with our Zero Antibiotics Chicken, we make sure that we also have chicken that are especially prepared for our Muslim sisters and brothers,” he said.
