PASIG CITY — Ten Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) personnel received their ServSafe Food Protection Manager Course certificate last June. The batch was composed of Quality Assurance Specialists from the Food Retail and Processing Operations units, as well as a Commissary Head Chef, and the MCS Supervisor for Processing Operations.
The ServSafe certification gives BAVI assurance that food safety practices are implemented in food retail and processing and commissary operations, ultimately providing the best quality products in the market.
Since graduating its first batch ServSafe passers in 2016, BAVI has been giving in-house Food Protection Manager training to our Operations personnel, specifically to Management Trainees. This does not only improve the competence of our store supervisors, but also establish them as advocates of food safety across BAVI’s food retail outlets nationwide.
As a growing company in the food industry, BAVI considers food safety training vital to be on top of the game, providing “food of the best value in every neighborhood” — a mission BAVI is committed to uphold.
Such training is also aligned with BAVI’s belief that its people are the center and driving force to achieving business success. Employees are given opportunities to attend training sessions to strengthen skills beneficial to their professional growth.
