The country’s leading roasted chicken brand, Chooks-to-Go, has officially taken the first step to be an international brand after opening two stores in Malaysia, bringing its well-known products that are proven to be masarap kahit walang sauce in the regional market.

Carrying the translated tagline “Enak Walaupun Tanpa Sos,” Chooks-to-Go Malaysia offers its signature roasted chicken variants well-loved by Filipinos—Sweet Roast and Fried Chooks. To satiate its Malaysian costumers, it added a new variant, known as Sili-Lemon Roast, which has spicy and tangy taste.
According to Dominic Navarro, AVP for International Operations, aside from being the initial step to realizing its regional expansion, the introduction of the brand in the Malaysian market intends to capture the locals’ palate and taste preference in terms of roasted chicken products.
“We are very excited about the opening of our outlets in Malaysia. Our presence in the regional market is a proof that a local brand can dream big and be known globally,” said Navarro.

Aside from its roasted variants, Chooks-to-Go Malaysia also offers Quarter Chicken Value Meal, which comes with chicken, rice and vegetables.
With over 1,000 company-owned retail stores in the country, Chooks-to-Go is intent on expanding its market regionally. For the first quarter of 2017, it is set to open its first store in Indonesia.
