GDANSK, POLAND – Four of Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc.’s (BAVI) top animal nutritionists recently attended the 22nd European Symposium on Poultry Nutrition (ESPN) at AmberExpo, June 10-13.
Organized by the Polish Branch of the World’s Poultry Science Association (PO WPSA), the conference aimed to discuss poultry nutrition technologies and issues in Europe and the rest of the world.
Alfredo Bautista (Group Manager – Animal Nutritionist for South Luzon), Gloria Marcelo (Group Manager – Animal Nutritionist for North Luzon), Audry Rose Ceniza (Manager – Animal Nutritionist for Visayas), and Myla Rose Ocleaza (Senior Supervisor – Animal Nutritionist for Mindanao) represented BAVI in the biennial conference.
The ESPN gathered more than 1,800 participants from all over the world. Presentations were divided into five subjects: (1) future protein sources, especially in the European market; (2) updates in layer nutrition; (3) new approaches in gut health; (4) sustainability goals and approaches in the feeds industry; and (5) recent developments and practical aspects in turkey and duck nutrition.
In their report, the four BAVI delegates said the “conference was very successful in bringing knowledge, innovations, and practical applications to the table, which [BAVI] can use in producing safe, healthy, efficient, and sustainable agro-feeding systems.”
