
Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) reaffirmed its commitment to the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines when the company took part in the Mental Health Symposium held on Friday at the DNET Auditorium ng V.Luna General Hospital in Quezon City.

It will be recalled that BAVI signed last February 24 a Memorandum of Understanding with the Philippine Army which expressed BAVI’s pledge to provide livelihood opportunities to military retirees and wounded soldiers as they make the change from active service to civilian life.


During the symposium, Dr. Erasmus Paderes, BAVI Senior Vice President for Animal Health and Field Mill Operations, presented the various employment opportunities the company has laid out for the members of the Armed Forces. Among these are the reseller program, contract growing, and lemon grass, charcoal, at corn growing.

BAVI gave out gift certificates and Chooks-to-Go shirts to the audience made up mostly of recovering patients and patients undergoing medication. The audience were also served HeiHei Rice Bowls and Chook-to-Go chicken meals for lunch.
