Peace happens not only when there is absence of conflict, but also in the creation of an environment where people can make a living and can live in harmony with the rest of the community.

Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc., through its Zamboanga Business Center teamed up with the Special Forces Company of the Philippine Army to organize a gathering of rebel returnees last July 24 in Barangay Kanaway. Parang, Sulu.

200 rebel returnees of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) were present in the event where they received food packs from BAVI. A total of 250 heads of fresh dressed chicken and 250 packs of marinado were distributed to the rebel returnees by BAVI Sales Representative Mark Pagente.

This initiative was done in cooperation with the 4th Special Forces Company of the Philippine Army headed by Captain Joemar Bongcac.

BAVI has been a long-time partner of the Philippine Army as the two organizations work together to foster peace and bring new opportunities and livelihood programs to the people of Sulu.
