In its continuing pursuit to improve processes, Bounty Agro Ventures Inc held last March 10 the 5S Recognition Program to honor employees who have contributed to ensuring a clean, uncluttered, safe, and well-organized workplace that ultimately led to a reduction waste and optimized productivity in the organization.
The recognition is in line with the Ideas-to-Improve Program spearheaded by the MCS Process Improvement, Compliance Support Center.
5S participants from Dressing Plant warehouses, Business Center Warehouses, and MedVac Storage presented last March 3 their initiatives to panelists Amira May Cajote – Estrellado (Senior Supervisor, Processing Operations), Young Sunday M. Domingo (Head, Health and Safety Unit), and Dr. Erasmus J. Paderes (Senior Vice President, Feed Mill Operations & Animal Health Support Center) who assessed the improvements done through 5S implementation. The initiatives were also measured by the savings generated after the implementation of 5S.

The 5S Presentation and Recognition is just the initial step in BAVI’s preparation for Kaizen implementation which is intended to be launched in 2022.
