The Palarong Pambansa has been played practically every year since its inception in 1948. For over six decades, it has been become the stomping ground where some of the country’s best athletes honed and tested their skills.

Chooks-to-Go recognizes the importance that the Palarong Pambansa plays in the discovery of young athletes from different parts of the country. Part of the mission of Chooks-to-Go is to promote the grassroots development of Philippine sports as a whole, not just in basketball.

It is with this in mind that Chooks-to-Go partnered with the Department of Education in staging the Palarong Pambansa Futsal Bubble Tournament. This event will provide the blueprint for the resumption of other school-based athletic competitions.

48 young girls from the secondary level from Manila, Nueva Ecija, Rizal, and Valenzuela will see action in the event held on April 4-6 at the Sitero Francisco Memorial National High School.

With an eye at establishing a sustainable partnership with the Department of Education, Chooks-to-Go aims to do its share in the growth of the sport of futsal in the country. Chooks-to-Go also seeks to provide playing opportunities for women in sports by providing a venue where young girls can compete, learn, and get better.
