For the second straight year, Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) is helping Mandaue City Central School’s light shine even brighter.
The Philippines’ poultry leader once more pledged a 12 week-long feeding program for 77 severely wasted students of the Cebuano school.

“Inspiring students to become responsible citizens who love their country requires that children are healthy enough to understand their lessons,” said BAVI president Ronald Mascariñas. “By supporting schools in this way, our efforts in fostering patriotism among the youth become more effective.”
The effort kicked off last January 7 and will go on through March 30.
To ensure everybody’s health, the pupils’ parents will be the ones receiving a pack of dressed chicken each.

Early last year, Mascariñas and company had donated and distributed nearly P150,000 worth of meal support for three months to 112 severely wasted pupils, or those who, according to UNICEF, “do not gain sufficient weight or lose weight due to inadequate dietary intake.”
