Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) has ignited a new initiative to light up the fire and desire of its employees.
Different departments have forwarded 34 names to stand as ‘Kaizen champions’ who will spearhead the poultry leader’s Ideas-to-Improve (i2i) program launched last November 24 via Zoom online meeting.
BAVI pushed for the new initiative to facilitate organization-wide betterment thru ‘Kaizen’ efforts — or small, incremental changes hopefully leading to improved productivity, reduced waste, and elimination of unnecessary hard work.
The ‘Kaizen champions’ from the BAVI’s business and support centers across the country underwent month-long training before receiving their certificates from the Compliance Support Center.
They will now lead BAVI in this first-of-its-kind effort to further fuel what is already a well-oiled machine.
“The program’s aim is to institutionalize benchmarking practices within BAVI and implement an idea generation program that will result to significant savings for the company,” said project manager Rachelle Payumo. “It is also expected to provide more opportunities for growth and improvement in BAVI’s company culture.”
