Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) and Special Olympics Philippines once again gathered for an online dance class facilitated by athletes with intellectual disabilities.
Dubbed “Zoomba Session”, the monthly virtual event is led by Special Olympics athletes Kamille Tingzon and Carl Garcia.
In last Friday’s Halloween edition, more than 30 attendees from all over the country dressed up as their favorite Disney characters.

BAVI and Special Olympics have been teaming up since January for the Kaya ‘Yan, Manok ng Bayan campaign, which promotes disability inclusion. The two organization’s partnership was only recently extended to the company’s Alagang BAVI, an employee wellbeing program.
According to HR Group Head Jaimie Natividad, as part of Alagang BAVI the Zoomba Session aims to “promote fitness and mental health” among BAVI employees.
“It also serves as an opportunity to showcase the talents of people with intellectual disabilities, and show BAVI’s continuous support for an inclusive Philippines,” she said.

Special Olympics, meanwhile, expressed gratitude for the collaboration.
“This activity is very important to our athletes,” said Special Olympics consultant Kaye Samson. “Thank you for believing in our athletes and believing in inclusion.”
