SILANG, CAVITE — Sunday is now most definitely a fun day for the children under the care of Sisters of Mary of Banneux.
“Yung chicken po, gustong-gusto ng mga bata. Every Sunday, ito po yung kanilang hinihintay na pagkain,” said Sr. Gertrudes Dayag, SM after Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) donated over 3,000 pieces of dressed chicken as well as a handful of Uling Roasters packs to the charitable educational institution.

Each and every piece was much welcome for the Sisters of Mary who were hoping for a helping hand in feeding 2,000 students during the continuing COVID-19 crisis.

Nothing more needed to be said for BAVI, which was more than willing to extend a helping hand to the 36-year-old secondary school that takes in children from the marginalized poor.
After all, it was yet another golden opportunity for the leading rotisserie chicken company to continue giving away 23,000-kilos of chicken to celebrate its 23rd anniversary.
For that, the Sisters of Mary are grateful.

Even better, the healthiest litson manok is just what the doctor ordered for the girls and boys still growing up in the midst of COVID-19.
