Bounty Agro Ventures Inc. increased the distribution of goods to the stranded dormers from various campuses of the University of the Philippines’ system.
Besides the continuous allocation of packed meals for the students of UP Los Baños due to the enhanced community quarantine, BAVI also sent over packed meals and frozen goods to the dormitories in UP Davao and UP Diliman.
“This is Chooks’ way of supporting our Iskolar ng Bayan dahil sila ang kinabukasan ng bayan,” said BAVI president Ronald Mascariñas, an alumnus of UP Los Banos.
For UP Diliman, Bounty Fresh sent over 1,000-kilograms of frozen chickens and goods to the commissaries of the various dormitories inside the campus.
This will be good for the almost 200 people still inside the campus for the rest of the week.
Mascariñas and BAVI has kept an open line to UP in these trying times. The amiable executive hopes that the students will never forget to pay it forward.
“My hope is that we inspire these students to walk the talk or Walk the Chooks, when they are out of the university,” he said.
“Hindi man nagsasalita ang mahihirap nating mga kababayan, umaasa silang maalaala ninyo sila at bitbitin o i-angkas man lamang sa inyong pag-asenso balang araw.”
