We’re at the University of the Philippines (UP) Los Baños for the 8th National Animal Science Quiz Contest, which runs until March 13.
Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) Vice President for Luzon Operations Paul Tiangco graced the event’s opening program and exhibit ribbon-cutting.
Organized by the UP Animal Science Society (UPASS), the competition gathers the best animal science students in the country.
The five-day event features an exhibit of the UPASS’ long history of nurturing some of the best Filipino animal scientists and entrepreneurs, including BAVI President Ronald Mascariñas.
Also present at the ceremony were College of Agriculture and Food Science Dean Dr. Elpidio Agbisit Jr., Institute of Animal Science Director Dr. Rommel Sulabo, Dr. Cristy Bueno, and Dr. Julienne Marie Undine Paz Quimio.
