Employees from our Iloilo Business Center recently teamed up to help rebuild their colleagues’ houses destroyed by typhoon Ursula last December.
The ‘bayanihan’ activity saw more than 30 of the office’s staff carry wood and other materials to rebuild parts of the house of stocks assistant Eliezar Aguirre.
The employees also gave some amount to cold storage processing assistant Rodney Valguna to help him repair his house as well.
The group personally funded the activity to help their fellow employees, who live in Capiz province.
Typhoon Ursula pummeled central Philippines on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, killing about 50 and destroying thousands of houses.
