Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) employees in Pangasinan have surprised several people, whom they identified to be hardworking, by giving them some Christmas treats.
The recipients came from varied backgrounds: Violeta Valenzuela is a charcoal maker and seller; Melody Labrado is a single mother, who works as a laundrywoman; Mariano Villanos is a rice farmer; Adelina Casimiro is a street food vendor, who works from morning until midnight; and Melecio Marcelo was a construction worker (his widow accepted the benefactors’ gifts).
According to Pangasinan Business Center Head Fe Quismondo, the activity was a simple exercise of appreciating the people who serve us everyday. She said BAVI is committed to supporting Filipinos who are true examples of “pagsisikap.”
