Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) employees in Naga City drove to a remote school in Camarines Sur to conduct a personal grooming seminar for soon-to-graduate students, November 30.
Held at Siembre High School in Bombon town, the seminar was conducted as advised by school teachers. They said many of the school’s students were still unfamiliar with proper grooming practices, including oral care, which are essential for anyone to qualify as a competitive job applicant.
Bicol Business Center’s rotisserie operations head Angel Lalaguna gave the main talk, after which her colleagues distributed hygiene kits to the students. About 50 students attended the seminar, which was themed “Tamang Kaalaman sa Kalusugan, Unang Hakbang sa Kaunlaran.”
According to Bicol Business Center Head Joel Ahorro, BAVI is committed to developing communities by giving them the skills and tools to help themselves.
