Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) President and General Manager Ronald Mascariñas shared the company’s road to success in the poultry industry at the CEO-CHRO Forum at Fairmont Hotel, Makati, yesterday.
Organized by the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), the forum gathered local entrepreneurs and HR professionals.
Mascariñas narrated how BAVI started with simply producing commodity chicken, then venturing into retail. He also mentioned BAVI’s set-up where the company doesn’t own its farms, feed mills, and processing plants, but that these are investments of entrepreneurs willing to venture with BAVI.
Mascariñas also mentioned the technical knowledge which the company got from Renoir, which helped set up the company’s store operations systems and processes. Similarly he mentioned how the world-renowned Investors in People (IIP) continues to advise his team regarding people management standards. BAVI now holds the coveted Gold Accreditation by IIP.
A sports patron often dubbed the Godfather of Philippine 3×3 Basketball, Mascariñas concluded his speech by explaining how love of country is essential to business and nation-building. He has always been a passionate advocate of patriotism through sports and social responsibility projects.
IIP Philippines CEO and PMAP President Gerry Plana and BAVI Vice President for Human Resource Management Atty. Nedo Sasing were also present at the forum.
