We have inaugurated our newest, state-of-the-art processing plant in Bago City, Negros Occidental, September 14.
The 1,700-square-meter facility features world-class equipment and produces up to 3,000 dressed chicken per hour. Business partner PBE & Sons, Inc. built the plant for BAVI and will employ more than a hundred people.
Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) President Ronald Mascariñas said this new plant will serve our fast growing market on Negros island. It is our 17th processing plant.
Aside from Mascariñas, other guests at the ceremony were BAVI’s Visayas operations head Dr. Antonio Utzurrum, Bacolod Business Center head Danilo Adrias, processing plant head Engr. Francis Alcantara, as well as PBE and Sons executives Boy Marañon, Doni Marañon, Thirdy Marañon, Bebo Cueva, and Mike Sarrosa.
BAVI, together with its sister company Bounty Fresh Foods, is the second largest poultry integrator in the Philippines. It partners with various businesses – including processing plants – and engages local poultry farmers to produce some of the country’s most well-known chicken brands – Chooks-to-Go, Uling Roasters, and Bounty Fresh Chicken, to name a few.
