PASIG CITY — Twenty-seven Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) employees in Ortigas Center shared a part of themselves (literally) in a bloodletting activity with the Philippine Red Cross, September 27.
Employees from nearby companies also joined the activity.
According to Larry Laygo, employee engagement supervisor, the activity was part of the BAVI Cares program, which gives BAVI employees an avenue to help people in need.
“This has become an annual activity,” said Laygo, “but we aim to conduct it more often.”
As a show of appreciation for the blood donors, Human Resources gave the donors the option of taking a leave the next day, September 28.
