For Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI), to be recognized as one of the local companies with remarkable people management programs is truly an honor, especially if it is bestowed by an esteemed organization like Investors in People (IiP).
IiP is an internationally recognized institution that sets the standard for better people management by defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people well for sustainable results.
BAVI, which is celebrating this year its 20th founding anniversary, first started its quest for IiP accreditation in 2015. The accreditation is benchmarked against international standards and IiP best practices. In the same year, BAVI was awarded its first IiP Standard accreditation.
Receiving the accreditation only inspired BAVI to further improve its programs for its employees. A year after its initial try, the company was awarded Bronze accreditation; and just recently, BAVI was given Silver accreditation.
This feat led Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) to invite Atty. Nedo L. Sasing, vice president for Legal, Human Resources and Corporate Administration of BAVI, to be one of their speakers in the recently concluded 2017 Customer Experience and Retail Operations (CXRO-HR) Conference.
The event, which gathered Maynilad’s top management, managers, consultants and employees, focused on focused on people management and customer service and is part of Maynilad’s preparation for their first IiP accreditation this year.
Atty. Sasing shared BAVI’s IiP journey where he talked about the company’s notable people management practices, employee engagement programs and the effects of these on the business.
When IiP awarded BAVI its Silver accreditation, it cited the following best practices of the company: open communication across all levels of the organization; focus on empowering people and teams; and training activities aimed at strengthening the organization’s core values and employee potential.
Other speakers during the event were Gerardo Plana, chief executive of IiP; Maynilad Vice President for Business Area Operations Christopher J. Lichauco; and Michelle Serania, quality manager at Sofitel Philippine Plaza.
Congratulations, BAVI!
I love how this company focuses on being the best company in terms of people management practices.
Looking forward to working with you in the future. Mabuhay!
Thanks for your support, Cindy!
