Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI), the company behind the country’s leading rotisserie chicken chain Chooks-to-Go, received a recognition from Caritas Manila for its relentless support to the organization’s various programs for 2016. The recognition was done during Caritas’ Agape, a gathering recognizing and thanking generous donors who supported Caritas Manila’s programs. Caritas Manila is the lead church non-profit organization operating in the country with social services and integrated family development programs for the poor and the vulnerable. Its main programs focus on education, livelihood, health, crisis, disaster risk management, and restorative justice. In 2016, BAVI was consistent in extending food support to Caritas for its various activities all year round. Last December, the company donated Chooks-to-Go oven roasted chicken, which were enjoyed by invited guests, Caritas volunteers, urban poor families and Caritas staff. The recognition was received by (center) BAVI VP for Legal, HRD and Corporate Administration Atty. Nedo Sasing and AVP for Marketing Kathlene Gomez. They were flanked by Rev. Fr. Anton C.T. Pascual (left), Executive Director of Caritas Manila and President of Radio Veritas, and Most Rev. Antonio R. Tobias, DD, Bishop of Diocese of Novaliches (right).
