Employees of Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) in Central Luzon visited an Aeta community in Porac, Pampanga as part of the company’s commitment to engaging in meaningful activities that create positive impact to the community.
The activity was part of BAVI’s monthly wellness program, which aims to encourage employees to share their time and resources to others, especially to those in remote areas. It focused on giving the community, especially the children, hope even just for a day.
A hearty, hospitable reception welcomed the group, which immediately broke the ice and made the execution easier and more fun. The children enjoyed the fun games prepared by the employees, and a simple lunch was shared by everyone. Aside from these, the employees, led by Business Center Manager Adrian Justiniano, gave out pack of goods.
BAVI actively promotes volunteerism among its employees. For this year, it intends to focus all its corporate social responsibility activities on helping indigenous peoples.
