Taking a break from their usual workday, employees of Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) competed in a friendly bowling tournament as part of the company’s Wellness Program.
The activity, which aims to give employees time to relax and bond outside their work areas even for a short while, gathered twenty-four employees who vied for the ultimate bragging rights to be the first BAVI Bowling Champ for 2017.

Amidst the friendly nature of the competition, the faces of the participants were marked with determination and seriousness. Cheers and jeers resonated in the venue, but the atmosphere remained fun and enjoyable.

Out of the 24 participants, seven advanced to the next level to compete for the title, but the competition was too tight that two finalists had to battle head-to-head, JR Lucenio of ISSC and Ed Raña of HR.
In the end, Raña, Human Resource Supervisor for Training, clinched the title after making a series of strikes. Apart from the bragging rights, he also received cash prize.
BAVI recognizes that overall wellness and work-life balance contribute in the performance of the employees. Moreover, the company regularly holds wellness activities to promote camaraderie and teamwork among the employees.
