Last March 11, 2016, 16 members from the Support Centers of Compliance, Training, Product Development, and Commissary Operations Center of Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI), became certified by ServSafe with the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification.
The ServSafe Food Safety Training Program “provides current and comprehensive educational materials to the restaurant industry and certifies professionals through the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam, which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP).”

The certification process involved a half day training session last Feb 26, 2016 on the food safety principles standardized by ServSafe. After the training, the participants went through an exam that covered 10 modules of the program and the BAVI group achieved a 100% passing rate, with scores of 90% and above.
The ServSafe certification initiative is an effort of the company to invest in its food technical experts and keep food production and handling processes up-to-date, as part of BAVI’s always-on commitment towards food safety and quality.
